Notifications
You control which push notifications you get. Go to menu → Settings → Notifications → Manage.
Four categories
- 1Charging (on by default) — started, complete, paused, and low battery below 20%.
- 2Automations (on by default) — Auto Sentry armed, Cabin Overheat AC fired, Sunshade closed, Scheduled Precondition started. Only fires if you've enabled the underlying automation anyway, so this is safe to leave on.
- 3State changes (OFF by default) — doors, windows, trunk, frunk, charge port opened, and unlock events. Turned off out of the box because most people find these too chatty. Flip on if you'd rather hear about every event as it happens.
- 4Security (on by default) — Sentry's vibration alarm; tap the notification to open Live Camera and check in live. Kept separate and on by default so a possible break-in can't be silenced by muting the chattier stuff.
Sentry pushes: high-risk events only
Sentry alerts follow the same rule as the official Zeekr app: you're only pushed for high-risk events — a genuine break-in-level trigger. Zeekr's cloud sends no notification at all for low-risk events (a light knock, someone brushing past), so neither the Zeekr app nor MyZeekr can alert you to those — even though the car may still record them to its own drive.
In-app bubble vs push notifications
The orange bell icon at the top of the home page always shows what's currently open — even if you've turned off state-change push notifications. Bubbles show current state; push notifications interrupt you when something changes. They're different systems and the notification settings only affect the push side.
What we don't push
We do send you Sentry's vibration alarm now (see Security above). Beyond that, Zeekr's cloud doesn't share accident or collision detection with third-party apps like ours, so for those the official Zeekr app is still the one that pushes them, directly from the car.
The same text lives inside the app: open the menu (top-right) → How to use.
