Linking your car (first launch)

The first time you open MyZeekr, we'll ask you to sign in twice:

1. 1MyZeekr account — your email and password. This is how you log in to this app, and it's tied to your notifications and subscription.
2. 2Zeekr account — a secondary driver you set up in the official Zeekr app. See the four-step setup below.

Set up a secondary Zeekr driver first

For your own safety, we recommend you don't use your primary Zeekr login here. Instead, set up a secondary driver on your car and use those credentials with MyZeekr — your primary Zeekr account stays entirely with Zeekr, and the secondary driver has the same driving rights.

The part that isn't obvious: the Zeekr app is designed for one account per install, so there's no "register another account" option once you're signed in. To create the second account, either use a second device (a spare phone or iPad with a fresh Zeekr app) or briefly sign out of your primary on this phone, register the new account, then sign back in. If you go the sign-out route, write down your primary Zeekr email and password first.

1. 1Register a new Zeekr account using a fresh email address (the Zeekr app emails its own confirmation code during registration — that code is entered right there in the Zeekr app).
2. 2From the primary owner's Zeekr app: Vehicle → Vehicle and Security → Share Vehicle → Create Sharing, then enter the new email. You can revoke access from that same page any time.
3. 3On the secondary Zeekr account, accept the shared car invite.
4. 4Come back to MyZeekr and sign in with the secondary email and password.

How your Zeekr password is kept safe

Your (secondary) Zeekr password is encrypted on our server using a key linked to your MyZeekr account. The encryption key never leaves our server. We never see your Zeekr password in plain text, and we never share it with anyone. If you delete your account, your Zeekr password is wiped completely.

If you ever want to disconnect MyZeekr from your car, go to Menu → Profile → Zeekr connection → Unlink.
