What MyZeekr CANNOT do
Some things just don't work over the internet — they either need Bluetooth, are kept inside Zeekr's own app, or Zeekr's servers simply don't share the data. Rather than giving you fake buttons that do nothing, we leave them out:
- ✓Start the car or use your phone as a proximity key to drive — needs Bluetooth. Use the official Zeekr app or your key card.
- ✓Power-open the trunk lid — needs Bluetooth on the 7X. We can pop the latch open for you, but the lid won't lift on its own.
- ✓Turn on Pet Mode — Zeekr's servers don't share this status at all, so we don't show a button for it.
- ✓Turn on Parking Comfort from the app — you can only start it from the car's screen. We do show you when it's running.
- ✓Sound the panic alarm — we send the command, but the car just ignores it (no horn, no lights).
- ✓Pull Zeekr's own Sentry recordings off the car — when the alarm catches something, the car saves its own footage to its built-in hard drive, and in our region that stays locked inside Zeekr's system. (MyZeekr lets you watch live and record your own 360° clips on demand instead, see Live Camera and Recorded Clips.)
- ✓Manage drivers / PIN-to-drive / authorized drivers — we deliberately leave these in the official Zeekr app to keep your sensitive credentials there.
- ✓Camp Mode — Zeekr added the feature but the remote control doesn't actually work. What you see in MyZeekr is the read-only "Parking Comfort" status instead.
We tested every single one of these on a real 7X to make sure they really don't work. No dead buttons here.
The same text lives inside the app: open the menu (top-right) → How to use.
