MyZeekr on CarPlay

If your car has Apple CarPlay, MyZeekr appears on the car's screen as an EV-charging companion. Connect CarPlay and look for the MyZeekr icon. There's no separate CarPlay login — it uses the MyZeekr account you're already signed into on your phone, so as long as you're signed in and subscribed there, it just works. (Allowing location on your phone lets it centre on chargers near you.) There are four tabs:

Chargers

A live map of public chargers near you. For the ones that report it, each shows how many stalls are free right now and how fresh that reading is. Your battery percent and rough range sit at the top so you can tell at a glance whether you need to stop. Select a charger to see its card — venue, free/busy, power, distance, network — then tap Navigate and pick Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze to take over the car screen with directions. One tap to navigate, no detour screens.

Saved

Your starred chargers — the ones you saved from the phone app — each showing live free/busy and how fresh it is. One tap goes straight to Navigate. It's the quick way back to your regular spots.

Filter

Narrow the Chargers map: Show (Live or All), charger type (Any / AC / DC), Availability (All / Free / Busy), provider (any network nearby), and Sort (Nearest or Fastest). Filters combine, and they reset fresh each drive so the map is never mysteriously empty.

Stats

Your charging on the car screen: this month's total energy and cost, and a list of your recent charges with energy, AC/DC, location, and cost.

Good to know

CarPlay apps are kept deliberately simple for safety, so this isn't full car control — locking, climate, and the rest stay on your phone. Turn-by-turn is always handled by a maps app (Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze), not inside MyZeekr — that's an Apple rule for non-navigation apps. And because of the same rule, the map pins themselves aren't tappable and the map can't re-centre on its own — so you browse chargers through the card and the Saved and Filter lists, which tap reliably.

The same text lives inside the app: open the menu (top-right) → How to use.
