MyZeekr is NOT a digital key

MyZeekr can lock and unlock your doors over the internet — that part works fine. But MyZeekr doesn't use Bluetooth, so there are two things it can't do that a real digital key can:

• ✓It can't start your car or stand in as a key fob when you walk up to it.
• ✓It can't power-open the trunk lid. The 7X needs Bluetooth proximity for that motor to fire (see Important Notes for the full story).

Why we deliberately left Bluetooth out

• ✓If a 3rd-party app could act as your car key, anyone who hacks your phone could potentially steal your car. We don't want to be that risk.
• ✓Pairing over Bluetooth to your 7X needs special access to Zeekr's key system. As an independent app, we don't have that access.
• ✓Even if we did, we wouldn't do it. The risk to your car isn't worth it for an app Zeekr didn't make.

To start your car or power-open the trunk, use the official Zeekr app (paired over Bluetooth) or your physical key card. For everything else — locking, unlocking, climate, charging, finding your car — MyZeekr handles it through Zeekr's servers.
